Education Concept
Yayasan Al-Azkiya Depok is a school with a "Full Day with a Boarding Feel" concept. It runs educational programs (curriculum & activities) like a Full Day School, but when students return home, they receive services similar to those in a pesantren (Islamic boarding school).
Essentially, a student's education happens more at home, so the cooperation of parents in the education process of their children is greatly needed.
The school's concept is based on an Integrated Curriculum:
Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka),
International (English & Arabic),
Diniyyah (Religious Studies), and Technology,
Through a digital application system between parents and the school.
We are committed to providing education based on the Qur'an and As-Sunnah, with noble character (akhlaqul karimah), excellence, and modernity.
Why Full Day with a Boarding Feel?
Religious education in this era is an urgent matter that must be taught to our children. Combined with rapid technological progress, it requires a strong foundation of religious monotheism (tawhid) within our children to face the changing times. Yayasan Al-Azkiya Depok adopts the Boarding School concept in terms of the pesantren curriculum in religious education and the Independent Curriculum linked to Islamic elements, thereby strengthening the students' religious foundation. It adopts the Full Day School concept so that tarbiyyah (education/upbringing) outside of school is carried out directly by parents at home, fostering more intense communication between parents and children. Additionally, the Junior High age is a transition period from pre-puberty to puberty, so we feel it is vital for parents to monitor them during this transition.
